Projects Overview
A project in Omako is a live client engagement. Projects are usually created from an accepted proposal, which means the milestones, scope, and client details are already filled in from day one.
Creating a Project
The most common way to create a project is from an accepted proposal:
- Open the accepted proposal
- Click Convert to project
- The project is created with milestones, client, and scope pre-populated from the proposal
You can also create a standalone project manually from the Projects list if you don't have a formal proposal.
Project Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Currently in progress |
| On hold | Paused — awaiting client, payment, or external dependency |
