Proposal Review
Omi can review a proposal and give you a structured quality assessment before you send it to a client — or after a decline, to understand what to improve.
How to Run a Review
- Open a proposal (any status)
- Click Review with Omi in the action panel on the right
- Wait a few seconds while Omi analyses the proposal
- The review panel opens with the results
What the Review Covers
Omi analyses the full proposal content — title, description, pricing, milestones, scope, revision policy, and legal clauses — and returns:
Score (0–100)
A single quality score. The score reflects completeness, clarity, and professionalism. There is no passing threshold — use it as a directional indicator, not a gate.
| Score range | What it means |
|---|---|
| 80–100 | Strong proposal, ready to send |
| 60–79 | Good foundation, consider the suggestions |
| Below 60 | Significant gaps — review before sending |
Strengths
Things Omi identified as well-done — clear deliverables, strong milestone structure, good payment terms, etc. Useful to know what to preserve if you revise.
Gaps
Specific things that are missing or unclear — for example: No revision limit specified, Payment terms are vague, No kill fee clause.
Suggestions
Actionable improvements you could make. Each suggestion is concrete and specific to your proposal.
Risk Flags
Potential issues that could create problems with the client later — for example: Large single payment milestone at the end of the project, Scope description is broad and open to interpretation.
Acting on the Review
Click into any suggestion or gap to see the relevant section of your proposal. From there you can click Edit to jump into the wizard and make changes.
You are not required to address every suggestion. Use your judgement — some gaps might be intentional (e.g. you've agreed terms verbally with a long-term client).
Re-running a Review
After editing your proposal, run the review again to see if the score has improved. You can run as many reviews as you like.
